Our newest team members

Angela Selseth, L.Ac.

Hello! My name is Angela Selseth. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and I’m excited to be moving my practice to join the team at Core Elements Chiropractic.

I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology and Certificate in Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin in 1995.

I worked for several years at a natural foods cooperative, then at Sisters of The Road Café, a meals program and community organizing project with the homeless and low income residents of Portland’s Old Town Chinatown neighborhood. While working in that community I learned of the Portland Alternative Health Center, a treatment center offering acupuncture to people recovering from addictions.  I was inspired to see Chinese medicine being effective in a public health setting, and I decided to study it myself.

I received my Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2005.  I am nationally board certified by the NCCAOM, and am also a certified Soaring Crane Qi Gong instructor.
